S-ATA and Dos os?

Is it possible to use dos on S-ATA hard disk? (Right after the boot)

As long as you are using FAT, I can't see why not.

I would say maybe.

DOS knew how to get the bios info it needed to access IDE and SCSI drives. If new bios's are handing out something so that DOS can understand SATA, I not sure. On most Windows installs you have to load a driver to be able to use SATA.

It may help if we knew what is it that you plan on doing and on what hardware/OS etc.
