New ROTTR patch also increases Ryzen performance of 20% at a minimum, with some people reporting gains of up to 50%.
We've seen similar gains in AOTS and other games. With respects to the present and future there really is no reason to buy 4 cores as opposed to 6 or 8 cores. We are seeing games now year old releasing patches and significantly improving performance on more cores.
