Bad news for people holding out for the taichi

It is March 11th.... when was Ryzen officially released..?

Did anyone expect the top three tiers of AMD's new CPU to sell out..? We are only 1/3 thru the product stack. So, by the time the Ryzen 3 series is released, I expect the AM4 platform to be mature & rock solid.

These first 3 weeks are going to have growing pains, as channels figures themselves out. Memory gouging is hurting more system builders than birthing pains.
 
easily one of the sloppiest new platform launches of all time...

northeast US is supposed to get hammered with snow this week too but i expect that it'll be well into April before I even have an idea of when I can expect to finally get my hands on a board. if the CPU's were in short supply I'd sell mine in a heartbeat
