No, you got it wrong, I had and returned one 3900X (not boosting properly), one 3950X (too expensive), now I have 3800X which works as advertised.
That's right. My bad, I thought you had bought yet another Ryzen model.

I had those CPUs all mixed up. :D

Well, $975 USD is better than newegg or amazon right now.
Local VAT (20% for Estonia, 21% for Lithuania) is included in those prices. That's mandated for list prices by the EU law, the price must reflect what people actually have to pay.

So all-in-all the price gauging seems to be even worse in US right now

So its really $812. I would pay that, its only $62 over. But $1290 ? I can get a 3960x for that ! (almost)

Go to Amazon and search for 3900x gaming pc and see how many different brands there are. Maybe not in Dell's league, but they do add up in the end. Most likely all of them will be offering the 3950x's in the not so distant future.
Well, like I said, no large OEM buy in. Alienware could be big, though the new Ryzen 9 rigs aren’t out yet.

Next day delivery for 3950X here in Belgium and the Netherlands.
at 821 Euro (749$ * 0.9€ * 1.21Tax = 815 Euro) so that is MSRP.

So relax there are more than enough.

And if you like to be fooled then you can also buy here: -13% = €1155

Did you get one, Mark?
When they hit retail.. I just ordered a motherboard for another one of my 32 core EPYC chips. $100 for that and 128 gig ECC. It only runs 2.5 ghz, but should beat that 3950x most of the time with 2x cores and 4x memory channels. (for what I do, DC). I do have an X570 motherboard, a NMVE with an OS on it, memory, a complete box except the 3950x waiting.

How many cores/threads do you have crunching so far? Looking at your sig I quickly run out of fingers and toes

About how much have you been getting those 7601's for?
I have been trying to nag one up but I think my offer price may be to low and I don't want to seem insulting to the seller like I am trying to low ball the guy ya know??

I got 2 7601 retail for $850 each. They do 2.6 ghz all core max. I got 2 7551 ES chips for $300 each, and they do 2.5 ghz all core max. But it was only recently that I found motherboards to support the 7551 ES chips correctly, and I won't be sure until I have one up and running.

It looks like the stock issues for 3900X are over and it might dip below 500 € next month. 3950X is still problematic but next month it should be in stock. Not worth the extra 300 € though (869 € vs. 559€, inc. 24% VAT)...

Oh thanks for the reply. Yes no wonder my offer didnt go through. I was only offering $500-$550.00.
I will try $700 for one and see if he would be willing to haggle with me and maybe see if he would do a return offer of $700-$800 seeing how its the holidays and all.
I will be using this motherboard - https://www.newegg.com/asrock-rack-epycd8-amd-epyc-7000-series-processor-family/p/N82E16813140010?Description=EPyx ROme&cm_re=EPyx_ROme-_-13-140-010-_-Product

Sorry, I doubt they will do anything under 850. It was only priced at that becuase one person had a single at that price. All the other places want more. They still retail for $3200. and PM me if you are looking for a good deal on memory, I don't want to put it here.
