I have a Ryzen5 7500f cpu and what are suggestions for what motherboard and general set up to get. This is mainly an everyday computer with minimal gaming done on it.
I don't think the 7500f is a good CPU for general use. It doesn't have integrated graphics so you will need to buy a dedicated GPU. That's a large expense just for general use. Any chance you can exchange it for another CPU?
How important is the upgrade path to you? I.E. do you see yourself dropping in a 12-16 core CPU some day? If not, a cheap A620 or B650 board and $80-$85 32GB kit of 6000MT/s is plenty for a daily driver.
"everyday computer with minimal gaming" and no integrated GPU? How much was the price difference between that CPU and one with IGP to justify purchasing a low end Video Card for doing essencially nothing?
HP AMD Radeon RX 550 4GB GDDR5. 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM is good for everything from a display adapter, to gaming, and even video processing. The Lexa PRO die is built on Global Foundries 14nm process making it both fast and efficient.
