Ryder scam?

I rented their truck for 1 day, say today at 10pm and returned tomorrow at 4:30pm...
so instead of just 59.95 he billed me 124.95 and say I was late and that I was suppose to return it before 10am not after 10am the next day...
then I say that cannot be 1 days, it would only be half day. This dude is ball headed and just kept making crap up about telling me when to return it when I heard no such thing and their is no way to make him change his mind... like "I told you to return it yesterday..etc"
anyway, i just went ahead and pay it to shut him up. Their never upfront when to return it and just say 1 day but like to assume its 2day when you return it... whats up with this low scum bag?
I live in Olathe, KS. a bunch of mean folks here, its sending chills down my spine.

edit, did you realy rent a truck at 10 PM?
hard to believe anyone is open that late
