Unbelievable meltdown for the US. Stricker was a bust for captain's pick. And yes, our golf fans showed a lack of class. I have to admit I did lol when the one guy yelled "get in the bunker!" at Garcia's shot, though. 😀
 
That was a collapse of epic proportion. And as far as the fans, that is typical R. Cup behavior. Remember the Euros at Celtic Manor singing the entire weekend?

I was at the Ryder Cup for a few days and there were tons of classless fans cheering for both teams. I have never seen so many Union Jack pants in my life. 😛

I think too much criticism for Davis Love as captain. I wasn't really big on Stricker and Furyk as picks, but still they choked badly and that's on them. I can't criticize Davis too much, no way to know if some younger guys like Van Pelt or Mahan would've done any better.

Bottom line: To many of our 'good' guys, IIRC all our major winners, choked and guys like Tiger have never been good in the Cup.

Finally, I think they need a week off between the Tour Championship and the Cup. A lot of guys on both teams looked burned out.

Probably would have taken Bill Hass over JF. I think Stricker was a capt choice because of Tiger. He is his friend and favorite match play partner.
