I'd like to see Ryan win, but Pelosi has a stranglehold on the party and her position.
I think he's referring to Tim Ryan challenging Pelosi for leadership of the house Dems. Not Paul Ryan.
Looked like a walk in the park from here. :whistle:I left off first names on purpose, seems to have worked.

Right now would be a great time to retain Pelosi from my perspective but if the Democrats are to ever get on the winning side of the issues it isn't going to happen with the old guard in place.
I hear ya but they're just going through the same shit Republicans went through after Obama won. Conservatives were often less than rational then too while running down every rabbit hole that appeared. That doesn't make any of this less tiresome though.Democrats are busy finger pointing to bother to do the work they need to do to .
Q: "Who's going to win the senate minority leader slot?"
A: "Trump tweeted something about the flag, I must troll the internet about it, and who's Nancy Pelosi?"
It's fucking pitiful.
to be fair, it's not exactly the House Minority Leader's job to set the direction of the party... whoever is selected to be the Minority Leader, their job for the next 2-4+ years will likely be nothing but trying to maneuver to temper the Republican agenda where possible.Pelosi is pushing 80, is quite wealthy and the epitome of a career politician. Add to that a slew of loses, how the party of the little guy allows this woman to remain minority leader is comical.

it's likely a job where you may want someone experienced and knowledgeable of all the arcane House rules.
