People's circumstances change. Maybe she had the resources when the adoption went through? Then lost her job or got divorced or other hardships? I don't like it when people voluntarily impoverish themselves by having children they can't afford and then want others to pay for it but we don't know that she's anything other than a loving mother going through hard times (nor do we even know that much really).Okay, so I know this isn't the point of the thread but why was someone without the resources to properly care for a baby allowed to adopt it? Something doesn't make sense here.
Oh and to answer the OP's question, that kind of stuff gets to me every time. I used to tear up on Extreme Home Makeover quite often, the ESPN stories about challenged children, etc.
