RX580 - good for the next how many years?

78'c? How is air cooling inside your case? You should provide good air cooling to control Temp's card.

case cooling is mediocre at best. Cooler Master HAF932, about 10 years old Full tower case. got a huge 240mm (?) fan up front, but its blocked by a bunch of PSU cables i've tied down there since my PSU isn't modular. My main issue would be a small PCI E Wifi card i'm using directly under my PCI Ex16 slot for the video card. its immediately underneath covering up one of the fans of the video card.

my mobo has no other slots for the wifi card. Room temps ~70-71F

I think it all depends on your output resolution as to how long the 580 will last into the future (that and how quickly the next generation console games come out making use of the latest features in Navi based cards).

Also, I would ditch the PCI-E Wifi card a pickup an external USB based device.
