Slow? Unreliable? LMAO! Must me a mustang owner. :p

A mustang owner because that would make the RX-7 look slow and unreliable in comparison?

I got the joke! The joke is that they're all driving on the wrong side of the road. Right?

No. Mustang owners usually dislike RX-7s. Mostly b/c if jealousy. RX-7 is lighter, faster, better looking, and handles better (stock). But we won;t talk about the new GTR :p Thats one bad mother.

mustangs and quality go together like oil and water. the rx7 might not be much better, but i still see a lot of them driving around, even the ancient ones.

I'm a mustang owner. The RX-7 is one of the few japanese sportscars I do like. How fast is a stock 3rd Gen RX-7, anyway?

quality wise the rotary engine does tend to blow itself up often after 100,000.

Well, you do have to baby it and change the oil *every* 2500-3000 religiously. If so, it will last beyond 100,000.

So, you can tell me that it's "Faster than a mustang" but you can't tell me anything about how fast it is? I didn't ask what kind of steering it had or what tires came on it.

Speed is defined as distance/time. Often when comparing cars, this is seconds/quarter mile. Can you tell me how fast it is?

1/4 won't be its strong point, but when the car came out it had the best handling of anything even close to it in cost. I seem to recall it was well into the .90 G for handling, and that you needed a chiropractor if you drove it much :D

Obviously the stats I've already provided to you displays the HP rating (255) a weight (2,797lbs). Personally, with my rebuild (engine, no mods except a bigger all aluminum radiator) is 11.21. I've only taken it to the track 3 times, and that was my best, another RX-7 down there on the same day bested me with 9.6 (i think).

Yea, it handles really well. The fast you drive, the closer it hugs the road. Its fun a fun drive, no doubt.

I'm sorry, did you just tell me your totally stock 225HP car ran 11.21 in the 1/4 mile?
