Hi there,
I was thinking about replacing my 7970 1Ghz with RX 480. :awe:
I have monitor which only has Dual Dvi port (Infamous Korean Monitors) running at 2560 X1600.
All the images and spec I saw they do not have Dual Dvi or any Dvi what so ever.
Is that mean people who owns these monitor are SOL ? :'(

Though, if you don't want to wait, you can use a dongle. I think I read that the XFX card comes with one, unsure of the others.

I'm not sure if you can O/C your monitor with a dongle. I seem to recall that you can't.

Correct, the adapter for dual link is "active" and costs like $30, and the one for 144hz monitors requires a usb cable for extra power and is like $90.

The adapter that is like $10 (and included in some boxes like XFX's) is passive and only goes up to 1080p ish.

You need an active displayport to dvi-d adapter. I have had no luck getting an non-powered one to work with my RX 480 + Qnix 27 1440p monitor. I've purchased 2 different adapters and 2 different dual link dvi cables. I see horizontal flickering lines no matter what. The powered adapters that would likely work, run $80-120. Probably better off waiting for custom 480's with dvi input
