RX 480/580 series models to avoid?

Are there any models with subpar cooling or weaker VRMS to avoid? I'm looking at the non-oc versions like Asus EX/MSI Armor instead of the Strix/GamingX. I saw a video saying that the Powercolor uses lower rated VRMs compared to the reference model.

As far as I know only Powercolor's had the lower end VRMs. But even the Powercolor cards are fine as long as you don't plan on any serious overclocking.

I hadn't realized mining was hot again and all the RX's are out of stock so I've picked up a 1060.
Update:
I came across a pair of RX570 Strix in stores and bought them and cancelled the 1060 order. Every other 470-580 was cleaned out.

It's a damn pity that nobody can buy the new RX's now, I'm glad I beat the crowd on getting mine.
