What are some things you shouldn't do in a automatic RWD - something with lots of power?

For example, the other day I saw a mustang peal out and proceed to spin out of control into oncoming traffic. I don't know how he did this.

What are some things to be aware of or careful of when driving a RWD car. Things not to do.

You should make it a point to do every one of the things these people will tell you not to do, find a BIG empty parking lot and learn what it feels like to "Lose control" of your car.

Do this on both wet and dry pavement, also in snow if it is applicable.

RWD sucks in terms of traction because there is no weight on the backend of the car. Slam a bunch of fat girls in the trunk, slap on some snow tires and you will be able to rip thru the weather

I don't see why you can't use NOS in RWD applications.
It's more dependent on the engine rather than drivetrain.

Is it THAT much worse/noticeable than FWD?

EDIT: referring to RWD in snow and ice

Sorry i didn't mean "nos" as in nitrous...rather like a "no-no"

If you have no weight in the back ... like a truck with an empty bed..

then yes ... you start fishtailing with the slightest turn of the wheel
are always trying to compensate

Yeah, but the car isn't going to snap around on you in a FWD car. It's harder to do something stupid in a FWD car.

No, the problem is that people think they should be able to drive at normal speeds in adverse conditions, RWD and snow have been around for a very long time, what has changed is the fair weather capabilities of our cars.

2 wheel drive pickups are the worst . . . I had a friend with a dakota, he'd through 80 pound bags of concrete in the bed to get some weight over his drive wheels, and still had a hell of a time getting anywhere in the snow.

with snow tires, it's actually fun to drive on ice& snow with a fr car. (front engine rwd)

4wd just makes life easier on the snow. ANd because of 4wd, most people forgot how to drive a fr car on the snow.
