A new extension of this trend should be to put objects on the sidewalks. Stuff that people and cyclists can easily go around but cars can't.

This is an immensely stupid thing to do... they are basically daring people (who already show they have little respect for the law) to run them over! In Russia!


Even in the US, even in CA where we have gun control laws, I would say that this is a ridiculously dangerous and stupid thing to do. People are crazy, you never know when the guy you decide to block is insane or armed or a gang member. Even if they are just a regular asshole, they could still just run you over.
