I don't read anything into it, but apparently they have had several instances of their bombers breaching NATO airspace and such.

I guess when they sink it will be easier for us to get the rescue subs there to save them.

Interesting, I thought they stuck to getting close to NATO borders but staying in international airspace. Maybe GLONASS is not working as good as our GPS
