This is sad. As you can see at this link, some poor guys have sent these women TONS of money. If they gut two suckers to send them $1000 each month, they are probably doing pretty good in Russia/Nigeria/or wherever they are. The guy in this quote sent a woman hundreds of dollars even though she wouldn't answer any of his questions.

" Hello..... I am a 57 year old male divorced with two grown sons. I have my own business and am finically secure. Recently I received an email from Oksana who got in touch with me through the personals on Yahoo. Her original message came to me and I was notified by yohoo that I had a personal email. This email originally came from Solance 912. I responded and told the person to use my regular email address. This person responded almost immediately under the name Oksana. She provided me with an email address of Oksana30@bk.ru We corresponded for awhile and later she included her full name of Oksana Mayorova. She, in one of her first emails gave me the address of, The Russian Federation , City of Cheboksary 428006 , St. Yubilynaya #58 Apt 49. As our emails continued, first with the basics, than came the I want to be with you, and the I love you's and wanted to come to America. This is when she started to as for money for Visa and plane tickets. During the course of our conversations I received one phone call that lasted for three minutes and she never answered any of my questions. She was very vague about everything. Never answering any of my email questions eather. It became somewhat frustrating. I continued to respond and finally sent her money for her Visa. First mistake! We corresponded further and now she began to ask for money for Airline tickets and told me that her friend who had a Travel Agency would be better if she made the arrangements. Second mistake! I than sent her $550.00 and was informed after this that she needed $700 dollars for Flight insurance, this was because of what happened here on 9/11..... I told her that I did not have any more money to send and that is the last time I have heard from her. This is a classic scam and I wish I would have known about the Black List before I sent this money. She was even going to use a fake Visa. Please read the following letters that were sent to me along with the accompanying pictures and make sure that anyone who corresponds with a Russian woman throughly looks into there background. Attached are the letters and pictures of our correspondence."

This one is even worse. Why do some American men foolishly think that they can just buy off some Russian women and get a wife for a few hundred bucks? It's so sad and ridiculous:

"I am a single, white, professional American male of 46, and I received an email about two months ago from ?Elena,? who said she found my name through an undetermined internet singles website. We exchanged emails virtually daily for a couple of weeks before she began professing her love for me and desire to be with me. I had told her that she could not possibly love me without having at least met me first, but still she continued. She said that she wanted to come and visit me, but only had $240.00, and she asked if I could help with the rest. Foolishly, I did. I initially sent her $900.00 for the one-way airfare (she indicated that she would take care of the visa with her money). Then, she informs me that she was told that she could not leave unless she had a return-flight scheduled?they told her that ?everybody knows that.? So, I sent an additional $700.00. Everything had apparently been arranged. She was scheduled to fly in to the airport here on June 8, and I was just on my way to pick her up when she called my cell phone and briefly said that she was in Moscow and could not leave that day. The rest of her message was unintelligible. A day later, I received an email in which she explained that she was held up in customs due to carrying an antique ? an old ruble that she had intended to present me with ? and she could not take antiques out of the country. She said that she was detained by the police, during which time she had made that former phone call to me, and ultimately was not allowed to leave. She then wrote that her father had had a heart attack, and when he was released from the hospital he would help her to pawn her jewelry to make up for the lost plane fare to Moscow. Of course, she could only come up with a small portion of the amount of money needed. For the duration, she very rarely answered any direct questions I asked, always professing her love for me, and actually referring to me as ?my husband Charles.? I had even requested that my sister write to her to indicate her welcome here ? she never replied to that email. Since that time, her messages became much briefer, and then stopped altogether. Her initial email address was elenka@poschta.ru, but she said she had to change it due to problems with her server, curiously after she had received the money from me (I wonder if she bought a personal computer for herself). The new email address she currently uses is elunchik1@inbox.ru. I hope that this serves to prevent anyone else from allowing this ?woman? to scam them as she did me. Charles"

Here is the worst so far.... This guy didn't even become suspicious until after sending his "bride to be" $6,000.00.

"I am a single man, white American, 50 years old, employed. I have used personals to find a good Russian woman for love and marriage. I was originally contacted by her on yahoo personals and she requested that I email her, if interested, to oblochko71@rambler.ru. We communicated at least three months and I had fallen in love expecting her, and we agreed, that she would come to the USA and we would be married. She started using my last name with her first. She requested money for her Visa, for her plane ticket, some cash to be able to leave on the airplane per the ministry, and lastly which I did not send money was for an item she was carrying that customs required a tax. In all I sent through western union money four times. The first was for $600, next was $399.99, next $1800.00 and lastly $1500. She was asking for an additional $1700.00. The first two amounts were sent to Zelenodolsk and the last two to Moscow. On the last request for money I finally got suspicious and researched the net and found her picture on your web page. However her name listed there was Mariya/Irena Matveeva (Masha). Paul P."

it depends, I sent one back a pic of my wiener and next day I had an international over night letter.

Plane ticket to da Russia and $1000 US.

I'd provide pictures, but part of helping her become better was building her a little pr0n site while there. I get 10%, plus the exchange program.

profit!
