An interesting takeaway from that is Guccifer 2.0 apparently altered some of the emails before sending them off. Wikileaks claimed that wasn't the case but that looks to be false.

It's really sad to see Assange destroy the credibility of what was once an invaluable international resource.

Yeah there was evidence of that last fall. The campaign needed to bring that to light instead of trying to bury that it even happened.

One of us is dishonest as hell and it's you. It doesn't matter that she lost the election, the idea that the person who got the most votes was perceived to be the worse choice is an illogical statement on its face and you know it.

Just admit it and move on. Why is it so hard for you to admit fault even when it's staring you in the face? Why does every little mistake you make have to be this knock down, drag out fight to avoid admitting fault?

Okay so logically defend the statement that the person who got the most votes was perceived to be a worse choice than their opponent.

There you go again. You and Hillary BOTH are playing the wrong game! When are you going to figure it out?

you%2Bplay%2Bto%2Bwin%2Bthe%2Bgame.png

Are you able to logically defend an argument that if it was a popular vote election Hillary would have won? Remember, you technically cannot use the 2016 election as an example.

It's easy to tell how badly Trump & the Russians messed with some people's minds because they can't even approach the truth in that. Can't even consider the possibility that they've been cleverly manipulated & outright conned into electing a president who's obviously unfit to lead this great nation. Being on the same side of the election as Russian psyops doesn't seem to concern them at all. I mean, Vlad wants to MAGA too, doesn't he?

No matter how many times it's pointed out they just want to talk about the eevil Hillary, uranium, bunnies & anything else to avoid looking at that.

We have evidence that Russian corruption doesn't start with just Trump. They have been involved in our politics since well before that. This isn't about party politics anymore. This is about dealing with an enemy that has taken hold of our nation. This enemy elected an unfit President, was able to con Obama and Hillary into exporting Uranium, and they may just be getting started.

This probably won't be settled until boots are on the ground. I'm not sure whose boots will be where first, but hopefully it doesn't end with Russian occupation.

Fight with me brother. Not against me.

I thought you put me on 'ignore'. Damn the luck!

Anyway, our election system is what it is...and I'm OK with that.

Of course you are, any fascist would love a non democratic system that supports his peers while leaving others without a vote that counts.

And you're right, I thought I did put you on ignore, obviously I did not, must have forgotten about it because you matter as little to me as you ever did to your parents. (that is the only explanation for your brain problems I can come up with)

So what you are saying is that a woman isn't fit to be president and was only chosen because they wanted to be progressive? Meanwhile we had a female Prime Minister that you people absolutely adore to this day, well not you personally since you are one of the evangelicals who think women are not quite fit to do anything but being slaves in a household.

Hillary would have been the most qualified president the US has had since Roosevelt. Her qualifications in politics and education are unquestionable for anyone but an evangelical or Islamist.

that is not what I said at all.
i said THAT PARTICULAR WOMAN is not qualified... There are women who are qualified. HRC will never be one.
Even Obama said the same thing in 2008.
I am the most anti-liberal voter you could possibly find, and even I know that i HRC was the wrong choice for the DNC in this election.
Bernie Sanders was much more qualified, had a much better economic plan, and Bernie wasnt a lying snake with the aura of 4+ suspicious deaths, when everyone knows the Clinton's had them assassinated to silence them.
Bernie would have easily demolished trump. HRC won the primary not because of her qualifications, it was because of SJW #progressivism.

Sure! The available research suggests that campaigns don't sway voters much so the most likely outcome of a change in campaign tactics from a popular vote election vs. an electoral vote election strategy is that the vote totals would be the same.

https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3042867

If anything I imagine voter turnout is depressed in states that go overwhelmingly one way or the other so if I had to wager on the difference it would probably be a modestly larger Clinton victory in the vote total than we saw in 2016 as Clinton won the states she won overwhelmingly (generally) and Trump won the close ones.

Pretty logical, wouldn't you say?

Well, DUH! But they didn't manage to elect one of their very own puppets that STILL haven't enacted sanctions that congress and senate voted for and he signed into law before this fucking puppet. Meanwhile imports from Russia are up 42% under previous sanctions that somehow just don't apply or are worked around but still in place.

Just bend over and take it, you're now just Ukraine under Yanukovich 2.0.

Putin now gets to say what goes... Your nation is just a puppet to the Putin regime.

Why isn't she qualified?

So you are a fascist? The opposite of liberal is fascist, the opposite of conservative is progressive.

Bernie would have been chomped in one piece with his support for the Soviet Union which he continuously praised and was the place he chose to spend his honeymoon, for his support to Castro and Venzuela's policy for government takeover of private interests, he wouldn't have a chance in fucking hell of winning anything and his policies were as unrealistic and stupid as Trumps.

She took it very easy on him, Trump wouldn't have, he would have brought up his support of the Soviet Union as the good and America as the bad.

Hillary was the sane choice, but I suppose in a nation of insane people that will never work.

That is the point, you want to make believe that the Russians obtained uranium RIGHTS and this is just one of the long list of crap you used to imply that this is the case.

It's not, it never was and there was NEVER any "Russian bought US uranium rights" deal which is what this whole god damned right wing talking point is about.

But since you have conceded that Russia didn't get any "uranium deal" what so ever by now, could you pretty fucking please stop bringing it up and inform your fellow idiot DSF about it?

Or is that WAY too much to ask of your dumb arse?

WTF are you babbling about? Never a question of the "Russians" directly exporting uranium because that wouldn't pass muster. The point missed by you continually is that uranium from the site owned by Russians did get exported out of the country. Could you be any dumber? Unfortunately, I'm sure your next post will answer that.

Gawd. Repeating the whole Russian uranium bullshit routine means you've been conned, sir. We import a whole shitpile more uranium than we export-

Owners and operators of U.S. nuclear power reactors purchased the equivalent of 50.6 million pounds of uranium in 2016. About 11% of the uranium delivered to U.S. reactors in 2016 was produced in the United States and 89% came from other countries.

https://www.eia.gov/energyexplained/index.cfm?page=nuclear_where

The small amounts of uranium exported from this country are a drop in the bucket of the international commerce in yellowcake.

61 years old, and I've not been a fascist for even one of the days I have lived. Ti's sad that you cannot say the same.

You continuously backhandedly play pretend you don't support Trump but you do on every single issue at all times, you continously say that you are for science but I've seen you dismiss it over antagonism regarding climate change.

I would say that you are a dishonest man more than anything. You keep playing pretend you are interested in facts but always come down on the side you originated on, you are simply a troll playing pretend that his mind can be swayed by facts while in reality it was set in stone to the point where you do not really care about anything but what your political beliefs and their yay sayers tell you.

I really didn't have to want to do this, but you keep it up until you are called out. So be it...

No go with the ultimate excuse of "just asking questions".. It's your thing more than any other thing.

I think we are done here and your pretence that you tried to have a reasonable discussion is adamantly false, you have not been reasonable on anything and when disagreements occur we both turn ugly, I can admit that I'm not a nice guy when someone tries to be dishonest with me but for you to admit that you've ever been dishonest even when shown that you have been would never happen.

You are just that kind of guy and I overreact because i just cant stand it. Thus I get into trouble and you get to sleaze the forum over with your "just asking questions" for another day...

Anyway, I think we are done here.

Of course they have, but you don't have their number on this issue.

You were wrong, but rather than admitting it you insist and deflect that if not this then something other...

Russia has your president, they own him... He's signed sanctions into law but refuses to enact them...

He's Putins little bitch and so are you.

What are you getting at? I have called Russian meddling since before the election. Despite the polls in favor of Hillary I said Russia will elect Trump, and they did.

I'm not carrying water for Trump or Russia.

So, if you had to take the opposite side of the argument, what would you say? Are there any data points that maybe say he could have won a popular election? Perhaps the change in votes in the 9 states that flipped for Trump in 2016 vs their 2012 results? Is that just so completely illogical that perhaps we should question whether or not those 9 states even swung for Trump in the first place?

It’s hard for me to imagine a case where Trump makes up 3 million votes. It seems that all else being equal a popular vote election is likely to increase participation and the more voter turnout goes up the worse Republicans do.

We've never seen the Russians work as hard or as effectively as they did for Trump. His election was a truly masterful exercise in social engineering by them, by Trump & by the legions of right wing propagandists striving for decades who softened Americans' brains enough for it to get this far.

The whole bullshit routine about Russian uranium corruption has literally no basis in fact. Well, unless you're claiming it was a giant conspiracy among 9 govt departments, the Canadian govt, the S African stock exchange & the govt of Kazakhstan designed to export a truly insignificant amount of uranium from this country while we were importing a helluva lot more.

It's all built on the boogieman behind the curtain, the whole cold war mentality about newkewlar weapons. It's just plain nuts & apparently a lot of Americans are nutty enough to believe otherwise. I mean, they elected Trump, didn't they? And proud to be marching with Putin's internet brigades, too! They'll all MAGA together along with the Neo-nazis & white supremacists of every stripe, not noticing the reality of their fellow travelers at all. Way back when, that was definitely something to pay attention to or they'd slit your throat in your sleep. It hasn't really changed much, either.

They were certainly better at it here than we were in Venezuela. I believe our support for the right there helped lead to Maduro's election. Even when we meddle we get it wrong. For so many here Putin was a "great leader."
