Putin sizing up Trump it seems 😀

Russian government hackers penetrated the computer network of the Democratic National Committee and gained access to the entire database of opposition research on GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, according to committee officials and security experts who responded to the breach.

The intruders so thoroughly compromised the DNC’s system they also were able to read all e-mail and chat traffic, said DNC officials and the security experts.

I guess the Russians have the DNC's entire play book. Wonder if it will become public?

If Putin wants to know more about Trump he just needs to look in the mirror. Their egotistical narcissism makes them remarkably alike.

If the DNC has any sense at all, their 'playbook' on Trump would be one line: "Stand back and let the GOP nominee bury himself."

Done, and time to move on to Hilary's inauguration planning.

I'm sure they've done analysis on what triggers narcissists best, what questions and words would be most effective to watch him say something extra stupid during the debates. These aren't state secrets but when will our Government, Organizations and Political parties get serious about IT security?

Apparently the DNC takes information security about as seriously as their leader does 😀

Drum hat please!
Being serious I'd wager Hillary's private server was newer and more secure. From previous work experience the Government doesn't like to spend money on IT if its not the Military.
This isn't saying what Hillary did was the right thing to do.

DNC isn't a government entity.

The DNC isn't the govt. The mention of Hillary's email is a gratuitous dog whistle & an invitation to derailment.

This opens up the possibility that Trump or his backers could pay a nice chunk of change and get access to everything that was on the DNC server and all associated communications (assuming they haven't already). Kind of handy to know exactly that marching orders have been given to the hildabeast media partners (the main stream media), and which reporters are in the bag, who are simply shills etc etc.

Doubt it will help. Damaging info is damaging whether Trump knows they know about it or not. Trump should already know about everything that is potentially damaging in his own life. It could help him know what they don't know yet I guess.

I wonder how much Team Billary is going to behind the scenes promise/pay Team Putin to not release anything until at least after her inauguration?

But how could we trust anything from Putin?

Why?

Its opposition research on Trump. If that is what was stolen by the Russians, it should only pose a threat to Trump. The Democratic party's plan here is already plain to see - to let Trump continue to dig his own grave and hand him an extra shovel if necessary. If it were research into Hillary, I highly doubt there would be anything there that hasn't been thoroughly catalogued by right wing radio and websites since 1993 - old, irrelevant news.

The only real story here is the lackadaisical attitude towards network security by a major political party.

Don't play coy. There are no question marks in my previous posts.

why do you insist on having the last word. I made a statement that was pretty clear, I was not the first to mention email.

**see post 6 while it doesn't mention email it certainly implies wrong doing.

And a gratuitous lackadaisical swipe at the Dirty Democrats, of course. From the OP story-

It’s the job of every foreign intelligence service to collect intelligence against their adversaries,” said Shawn Henry, president of CrowdStrike, the cyber firm called in to handle the DNC breach and a former head of the FBI’s cyber division. He noted that it is extremely difficult for a civilian organization to protect itself from a skilled and determined state such as Russia.

Just because the US & our friends can deploy things like Stuxnet doesn't mean we have a monopoly on such talent. Far from it.
