He already went to an extreme by throwing her to the ground. Apparently, when she was taunting him all during the show he didn't say a thing or react at all. That was his problem. She was obviously trying to get in his head to win the show, and he was letting her do it. He should have just grabbed that shoe and tossed it away and cussed her out or something.

And its a game show. You're probably supposed to do annoying crap to win. He should be playing along. Out annoy her. He should have gotten really close so that her boobs were pressing against him.
