And the USA is trying to team up with China against Russia, and Russia is trying to team up with China against the USA.
At least when dealing with Russians and Chinese you don't have to tiptoe around PC niceties like you do when hit by terrorists.
Unless the terrorist is Putin, blowing up his own people, then you have to tiptoe very carefully.

This is amazing Mark my words the price of oil will shoot up once Trump takes office. All the Trump ass lickers will find some excuse to justify it.

I find this thread quite funny really. look how the US reacted to the Cuban missile crisis, yet the US had warheads just as close to Russia. Where Ukraine gets really messy is that you have a very Pro Russia East and a much less so West, throw in an informed internet connect youth and import strategical assets and it just becomes messy.

But like it or not 2017 is looking good for Putin, "Winning" Syria , a US president likely to lift sanctions against Russia and seems to want to focus on domestic issues. Im sure the last one will change when the government needs a distraction, i hear there is plenty of oil in venezuela, they could use some liberty*.

* they actually could its quite sad 🙁.

Basically...Putin just wants to preserve the "Russian way of life," which is the society that reflects their history and culture. This isn't any different from the "American way of life." I don't think he wants empire or anything, though buffer zones of protection are pretty important for national security.

I definitely think the USA is overreaching by expanding the anti-Russian NATO alliance to include these former Warsaw Pact countries. I thought that with the end of the cold war we could have disbanded both NATO and the Warsaw Pact.

edit: oh crap, yeah it is from 2014. This is one issue where the mainstream media definitely has failed us. They act like Putin is the most evil person on the planet who has personally enslaved Russian society and wants an empire. Basically they're projecting everything that they actually are onto Putin. And because Putin is white, he's fair game to hate on. No joke on the last one.

FFS.

All you evil commie pansies that are frightening desura and his white way of life.

What fucking world do you live in that you think the Americans and Chinese are teaming up against the Russians? I think I know which one, its the usual suspect.
