sorry if repost..

Attack is predicted for August 26.

I found this from Pravda (the Russian newspaper.) I was looking for more information about the 2 airliners that went down and happened upon this link...
Terrorist will paralyze Internet on August 26, a Russian expert in antivirus programs said on Tuesday.

Speaking at the conference hosted by Russian Information Agency Novosti, Aleksandr Gostev from Kaspersky Labs said information on this terrorist attack was published on special websites. He did not elaborate.

First of all, the United States and Western Europe will suffer from the attack, Gostev was quoted by the agency as saying. The head of the labs, Yevgeny Kaspersky, reminded that similar attacks had earlier paralyzed Internet in South Korea. He added that it would be ?impossible¦ to stop terrorist organizations if they ?get down to business.¦

Wow... I was reading some other stuff on Pravda.... that magazine certainly has gone downhill! It's closer to the National Enquirer than to the NY Times.
They even have an article that claims Russia has been preparing for a manned mission to Mars for 30 years..... the mission launches some time next year. :Q Yeah right ;)

Russia has a single 56k connection giving their country internet access. I will cut this link with scissors if they step out of line.

i dont think terrorist have well enough developed computer hackers to do any damage. also it would be too easy to track everything, everybody would know whats happening and have an idea where to look. but ya, terrorist can blow stuff up, they cant 'bring down the internet'.... and if they even tryed, a whole lot of other countrys would be pissed off.

Maybe it will mean that millions of people in America will take their first breath of fresh air outside in days... or weeks... or months.
