There has ongoing speculation that there West's intelligence agencies were surveiling the Russians, and anyone who communicated with them were picked up incidentally.

Highly plausible, which means a lot of Team Treason's dealings with Russians are captured by our own spy networks, no warrants needed.

Does anyone believe the Trump's would be careful enough not get expose themselves....?
This is where Trump got the idea that Obama had wire tapped him. He was wire tapped but not specifically by Obama. And he wasn't the target, the target was the other side of the conversation.

I don't think someone like the pap would have the required training and experience to have any idea what the fuck he was doing in those circumstances. It's not surprising he was picked up as part of british (or whoever) intelligence gathering operations. They need to protect their national security and known russian SVR operatives and their associates are certainly a threat to that.

They need to know as much as they can. Then hopefully they can disrupt operations like the one below.

It stands to reason that if the pap took a plea deal then the FBI has enough evidence to get a conviction and the paps lawyer has advised him to take a deal and cooperate*. Or he is going to prison. It would also seem reasonable to conclude that the evidence has come from the british and australia primarily. Does anyone actually know what he is charged with? Wouldn't there have to be laws in the US he has broken?

I almost feel sorry for the pap he got used, abused and spat out by the trump campaign and now he is getting the same from the US government. Dumb arse. Seriously what a fucking idiot.

*is it at this point that the conspiracy theories come into play? That the pap hasn't done anything wrong and it's a vast conspiracy involving the FBI and british intelligence...oh and the steele dossier? Right?

Exactamundo.

Trump is either a dope or can't boxed in so he couldn't property explain what happened.

It's reasonable to think that a lot of what Mueller is doing interviewing and asking for emails and communications is confirming/fleshing out what the spy services already know, as well as setting up traps to invite Team Treason to lie and perjure themselves in order to gain easy charges and leverage.

The financial crimes will be bonus points.

I suppose it would also be reasonable to assume that the SVR operatives the pap was dealing with had been trained in all sorts of counter surveillance techniques and were aware of the sophisticated electronic surveillance technology available to the british.

It almost seems like the SVR's desired outcome is chaos. To disrupt and divide the US as much as possible.
He’s been practicing with Trump

So wrong. Yet so right.
