Saw this this morning. The first thing I thought is that the Russians are testing Obama. I'm looking forward to Obama's response.

This is something they would not have tried on Bush?s watch but I believe they and many others do not fear Obama. If Obama shows weakness here I expect a lot of other such moves will transpire Russia and others in the coming months/years.

ARE YOU RETARDED?????????????

North Korea, and Iran both continued to flaunt their nuclear progress AFTER the invasion of Iraq.

Russia has been making power plays, and invaded a fvcking COUNTRY when Bush was in office.

Holy cow dude, get a grip on reality you are dumb as a brick. Work on your short term memory so you can remember what happened during the course of the last couple years.

You are comparing the purchase of a military base to the invasion of a U.S. ally? jesus...... please stop posting.

*edit* lest we forget Russia fearing Bush so much that they sent a decent sized navy to Venezuela to practice war games with Chavez. Yeap you got that shit nailed on the head bro..... they certaintly fearrrreeedddd us.... LOL

LOL, cool off dude, did your veins pop up?

Flaunting ignorance ticks me off also... especially when it's pushing chickenhawk idiocy.

Moronic logic bothers me. Luckily using extra punctuation marks, capitalizing words, and bolding words does not induce high blood pressure in me.

BAD idea. The Afghans remember Soviet occupation well. If we allow the Sovie...err....Russians back in, we will never be able to regain any respect in the region for generations. All our efforts in Afghanistan will be for naught. Do they want the Americans occupying their soil? No. Russians? HELL NO! This has bad idea written all over it. If the Russians want to help, they can do it elsewhere.

If the Russians want to help out, they can provide free fuel to the NATO forces in Afghanistan and/or financial support. Putting Russian troops on the ground will undoubtedly cause droves of people to ally themselves with the anti-NATO forces. The Afghans remember The Red Army and that they did to them, probably made living in Coalition occupied Iraq look like a vacation.
