there are actually very few of those--most of them were little green russians and everyone knew that.

Of the minority of legit Ukrainians that wanted to secede, you should probably ask them what they think about your cvnty country now. I mean, if they haven't been raped and murdered by your people by now, of course. Most of them probably have.

The world desperately wanted modern Russia to not be the bad guy. Lots of efforts were made to help undo decades of communism. Benefit of the doubt extended on all fronts. Massive military drawdown to prove we didn't want to take advantage of a weakened Russia. What did we get? A dictator with imperial ambitions. The west isn't a bunch of angels or anything, but on the topic of Russia we were pretty damn friendly.

To be clear; communism is fine - the Russians can pick any type of govt they wish; what is at issue has nothing to do with their so called 'poltics' beyond the fact that Russia is run by a Dictator with a morality compass lower than a class 5 storm.

Yes, I’m not saying they couldn’t have continued with communism or go back to it, but their economy was horrifically bad after decades of communism, and we tried to help.

He did admit to being Russian on his first post. The language changed at least once though, so the account was likely handed over at some point.

Rest assured these Russian provocateurs embedding themselves in our nation's political forums are having a really good time enlisting anti-Ukrainian supporters in any of those conservative forums and assuredly having significant success toward converting dumbass Trumpies into tankies.
