This is quite an insightful video.

it actually hit on a few correct points on Western thinking here:

Namely this war was always going to happen as Russia won't stop since their goal isn't to get Donbas for a tiny amount of Russian speakers or natural resources;

It's to get a geographic barrier that's defendable and Ukraine has NONE OF THAT.

Their end goal is to go beyond Ukraine and into NATO countries.

And even if it was legit, how did it justify invading a sovereign nation, murdering it's children, and raping it's women?

Even Putin recognised the Ukrainian elections. He did view 2014 as a coup of sorts despite the government that was the subject of the coup made an agreement to transfer power and wasn’t removed by force. But he still recognised the agreement and following elections.

We all know what it is, imperialism. I don’t think he’s so focussed on any particular piece of land more than having weak client states that will operate as Russian proxies. You know, the same thing they cry about the Americans doing with literally every country that opposes Russia.

The number of things that Putin is perfectly okay with when he does and deeply upset about when anyone else does is pretty long.

That's pretty common with a lot of abusers. Accuse others of what you are, or intend on, doing. You see the same stupid shit with a lot of politicians of the right leaning variety.

Isn't there some way they can cut through the muck and charge Lavrov with complicity?

His are not the acts of Diplomats.

.

No, and we don’t want to. He’s not a diplomat anyways, he’s the foreign minister. We’re supporting Ukraine in part to uphold the rules based order. We can’t violate it for a guy that says obnoxious things.

Not 'we' as in the U.S. But rather 'we' as in the UN. There are a number of war crimes investigations underway. He has to be a part of what's being done over there.

While I certainly support any and all war crimes investigations as it's important for the world to know the atrocities Russia is carrying out it's pretty unlikely anyone from the Russian government ever faces justice for them. If Putin is overthrown I guess there's an chance whoever does it tosses him to the ICC to get him out of their hair but I doubt it.

Kosovo PM says Russia is inflaming Serbia tensions as Ukraine war falters

Kosovo’s prime minister, Albin Kurti, has warned of Russia inflaming tensions between his country and Serbia due to the war in Ukraine faltering, as Belgrade took its first step in deploying troops to the region.

Ethnic Serbs in northern Kosovo, where they are in the majority, have had barricades set up for more than a week, preventing the free movement of the Kosovan authorities, despite US and EU calls for the illegal road blocks to be dismantled.

A large group of members of the Narodne Patrole, a Serbian nationalist organisation with ties to the Russian paramilitary group Wagner, had also massed on Sunday on the Serbian side of the Serbia-Kosovo border threatening to confront Nato troops.

With the risk of violent clashes growing, Serbia’s president, Aleksandar Vučić, used his right under a UN resolution to ask Nato for permission to send 1,000 police and army personnel, citing a need to protect Serbian communities.

Interesting. I don't think Serbia is in NATO.. they want to take on all of NATO when Russia is losing or is it just chest thumping?

If the Serbs want to call down the thunder then I guess that's something they can decide to do.

Emotional intelligence! That is one beautiful human being!
"Yes we are professional military
That's what separates us from the Wagner group right there. We don't carry guns, we're not fighting.
We are training Ukrainian soldiers in Donbas and we are rescuing civilians . Period. That's what we do.
If anybody wants to help this group in any way look here:
I have given these guys half of my retirement "It's not much" at 55. I plan to retire in Ukraine because you can't live in the Bay area, California on a $1200 social security check. I probably will give this group the rest because these guys are the least selfish persons on the planet.

They aren't. They've been cooperative with NATO for awhile now though, but have no desire to apply for membership as far as I know. EU membership maybe. Right wing Serbs didn't appreciate NATO stepping in to stop their cleansing efforts, still lots of butthurt about the split up.

Serbia is historically Russia's sidekick; watching big cuh get his ass whooped, repeatedly, is getting people over there a wee bit emotional maybe.
