Would Putin have invaded Ukraine if they had nukes?

That's pretty clearly analogous to what North Korea and Iran think when they look at Iraq and Serbia.

NATO and Putin have both played a part in encouraging nuclear proliferation. Not sure really what can be done about it - maybe it's just inevitable, a concequence of human nature expressed through geopolitics. But on balance I think it's a bad idea to encourage it or make it worse. Seems reasonable to try and slow the process in the hope the world can fix itself in the meantime.

Oh, and make of this what you will.
We continue to build evidence of Russia planning to not stop at Ukraine. Russia wants every nation it can reach.
This matches the war maps Russia had, of what their military maneuvers would have been after taking Odessa.

Russia warns Moldova you are next if you supply weapons to NATO
At this point isn't this like Mexico getting the shit kicked out of it by Guatemala and then threatening Honduras (Moldova) and the United States (NATO).

Ukraine had nuclear missiles. They gave them up with the assurance Russia would never invade Ukraine. Ukraine should get them back. Would Putin have invaded Ukraine if they had nukes?

Also... if Russia were to attack a NATO country then the US and other allies would bring out the good stuff.

Maybe, maybe it's safe. Unless in the future a pro Russia party wins power, then maybe the West will go back to not feeling comfortable with a bunch of nukes in unstable hands right on it's borders

Btw: Investigative journalist Christo Grozev placed on Russia’s wanted list, according to interior ministry.

His crime? Reporting the war in Ukraine and more specifically the atrocity of the Russian army.... After all if reporting it isn't favorable to Russia 'army'; it is 'fake news' and a crime.

Well its approaching the 1 year anniversary of the conflict. He is aware of how stupid he would look by still calling it a special military operation a year later.

Sweet Jeebus! The beatings will continue until morale improves.
In 1942 Stalin issued Order 227 which involved sending penal battalions to the front lines with rear detachments meant to block and kill retreating "cowards". Wonder if they ever get to that.

Well he still thinks we're stupid because the number of reasons they are giving for this war changes by the day:

ruSSkie insecurities
denazification
satanist ukranian pornstars teaching LGBT way of life
loss of territory

They retaliate with rockets on civilians rather than military targets.

While his defenders here on the forum and the US congress happily repeat his talking points.

Just how stupid do these guys think we are?

He doesnt care of what the world thinks of him or his 'special op' but rather his own ppl. All propaganda is directed inwards rather than outwards.
