So despite increasing preparations for such an attack,
It is believed Russia has neither the men nor the equipment to launch a successful attack from the north.
Using Belarus to keep Ukrainian forces in place would be a smart move, even if no one is attacking.

In case you wanted to know where our weapons are going:

“Regrettably, the situation in the Sahel and the raging war in Ukraine serve as major sources of weapons and fighters that bolster the ranks of the terrorists in Lake Chad Region. A substantial proportion of the arms and ammunitions procured to execute the war in Libya, continues to find its way to the Lake Chad Region and other parts of the Sahel. Weapons being used for the war in Ukraine and Russia are equally beginning to filter to the region.

…The question why there are weapons from Ukraine in Africa is critical. Even western countries supplying weapons to Ukraine are seriously concerned about such cases. Reselling weapons abroad – to Europe (Sweden) and Africa is becoming a common practice in Ukraine.

You know, that’s terrible! The diversion of arms from EU and US intended for Ukraine should be immediately investigated…right after the full and in-depth investigation of Russian arms diversion into Africa. After all, that particular diversion would be Russian sponsored, correct? Since the Russians keep such a tight control on such things…right?

You do realize you can just go to Google news and type in 'Nigeria Ukraine Weapons' and find the same report from many other sources right? Since it seems you only follow establishment news, here is one from CBS that was not allowed to air:

Nowhere does Buhari say it's Western weapons. In fact he doesn't provide much detail at all on what weapons are seen. Also the only source I see for this is him. Polygraph point to reports that most of the weapons being used have been captured from national stockpiles of the militaries there.

So Nigeria has HIMARS? Wonderful.

Maybe Africa can use HIMARS on France as payback against slavery and exploitation and ask for reparations!!

I knew Biden was a genius and trumpanzees belong in a zoo!

As a result of December 11 HIMARS strike on a drunk party in a restaurant in occupied Melitopol city, the entire command of the 58th Russian Army (North Osetia) was eliminated.

GG Partisans!
This is the age of the partisan.

No need to plant the bomb. No need to ambush the enemy. No need to infiltrate an assassin.

Just figure out where the occupier is at, and 5 minutes later 200 pounds of military warhead crash the party.

So a Russian ally gives a completely unsubstantiated comment and you take it as the gospel truth.

That conflict is almost fully fuelled by light arms, the kind of stuff that isn’t in short supply anywhere, and that’s largely difficult to trace.

I really, really doubt that’s the purpose of these. As much as what air defence doing is a well earned meme, no Ukrainian is flying over the Kerch bridge any time soon.
In my dreams I see them using this kit to make a homemade cruise missile.

So you think it's Russian weapons getting lost? Here's another source, the Pentagon:

American officials are turning to everything from blockchain technology to Ukrainian soldiers for help as they struggle to track the billions of dollars in U.S. weapons and other aid flowing into Ukraine, according to a State Department cable obtained by POLITICO.

Believe it now?

Not a surprise when we send 100+ billion to the second most corrupt country in Europe.

It’s not that you’re just stupid, it’s throughly insulting that you think anyone will go for this.

It’s hard to track weapons in a war is not the same thing as significant amounts of US weaponry is going to Africa.

Great news, though there is still the significant threat of combat air patrols with the Mig-31BM interceptors armed with the very long range and very fast R-37M missiles being the most dangerous. I think even with JDAM-ER this will be a problem.

The VKS has divided the Ukrainian/Russian lines into eight zones and maintains a regular posture of a pair of Su-35S fighters or Mikoyan Mig-31BM interceptors in each one.74 Without regular tanker support – which the VKS does not provide to fighter units due to limited capacity and prioritising the strategic bomber force – times on station for these CAPs are unlikely to exceed two hours, so at minimum this posture requires around 96 sorties per day to sustain in daylight.75 However, these patrols have proven highly effective against Ukrainian attack aircraft and fighters, with the Mig-31BM and R-37M long-range air-to-air missile being especially problematic. The VKS has been firing up to six R-37Ms per day during October, and the extremely high speed of the weapon, coupled with very long effective range and a seeker designed for engaging low-altitude targets, makes it particularly difficult to evade.76 The long range of the R-37M, in conjunction with the very high performance and high operating altitude of the Mig-31BM also allows it significant freedom to menace Ukrainian aircraft near the frontlines from outside the range of Ukrainian defences. The VKS has also started employing the R-37M from at least a few of its Su-35S fighters, which not only increases the reach of the latter in combat but may also suggests Russian stocks of the R-37M are in little danger of running out.77

"Our"

Lololol

The argument is what, exactly? Most of the arms are going somewhere else for some reason, and this was the only cover to do it under?

And Russia is getting repelled by only a fraction of what we sent over?

And there is some random Himars driving around Nigeria? Why? Again.

A little old but you can tell from the accents it's not just Ukrainians fighting the Russian troops
