Its already here. Fucked up truth is its already here.

No, it's not, and you guys really need to knock that off. Seriously. It's not helpful. WWIII is not Russia doing a bad job at being a bully. WWIII is America/NATO trading ICBMs with Russia, the end of the Northern hemisphere and life as we know it.

Should go without saying this doesn't aid us in assisting Ukraine. We're only 3 weeks into this, probably time for people to recall the long slog of Syria and realize how much better Ukraine is in comparison. Death and destruction are unavoidable when dealing with someone like Putin, but time is not on his side and a nuclear conflict with America isn't required for him to fail.

I'm not dismissing Ukrainian suffering here at all, but this talk of a NFZ over a Russian occupied battlespace... ugh. NATO, a defensive org dedicated to avoiding war with Russia... starting a war with Russia. Wouldn't that be fucked up?

Except he didnt pull out. He was putting pressure on NATO countries to pay more than 2% of their GDP. We pay 5%. And who do you think contributes more to NATO?

Trump pulled out of the Iran deal, which has weakened our bargaining position vs. Russia and directly led to higher gas prices at home.

Ok, I did miss that bizarre T-shirt. Unless it is an agent provocateur (not at all uncommon in these times) I would consider this guy an extremist. Who is this particular individual, and what is he being charged with?

How is Ukr different? If you read my previous few posts I made that very clear. I'll add additionally that they are possibly worse than ISIL, because they seem to have infiltrated the Ukr government, including their SBU.

No, he's not some planted "agent" or a crisis actor, or some other BS. Stop with all the dumb conspiracy theories.

He's a scumbag from Virginia who pleaded guilty for his criminal trespassing and is serving the absurdly low maximum sentence 6mos in prison.

"FBI agents arrested Packer a week after the riot. He remains free pending his sentencing hearing.

A witness who contacted law enforcement recognized Packer as a regularly customer at a store near Newport News. A surveillance camera captured an image of him wearing the same sweatshirt in the store in December 2020.

Packer’s sweatshirt “appears to be a symbol of Nazi hate ideology,” an FBI agent wrote in an affidavit."

I just want to see RU artillery, ballistic "city killer" shit taken out as fast as possible. I don't know what that takes or if UK can effectively keep them out of range and destroy enough units in the meantime, without RU getting resupplied.

I just feel like it's getting really close to buildings melting into pavement and 10s of thousands of civilians getting killed at a time, in short order. That starts happening, I think all bets are off.

Russia Seeks UN Humanitarian Resolution Not Mentioning War

Russia has circulated a proposed U.N. Security Council resolution demanding protection for civilians “in vulnerable situations” in Ukraine and safe passage for humanitarian aid and people seeking to leave the country.
Associated Press March 15, 2022

How about just stop shooting at them?

you see because it's not actually Russia shooting at them, see? It's the Nazis in Ukraine that are doing it. It's why Vlad is there to help them!

It's literally the story they are trying to push in Russia, and with their own fucking agent here in AT, this last week.

IT's fucking insane. The cult of personality of Vlad is actually trying to broadcast to the world, and we're all kind of seeing it. Russia has state broadcasters fleeing the country now, instantly. They can't do it anymore, because they know the world is getting exposed to this kind of nation (and continent)-wide gaslighting.

Because that is is what is happening. The madness of this man and his information-ops (remember--this guy is state security intel. he isn't military). Putin has been playing that information game hard, and his own people are now suddenly fleeing. The Trumpers are starting to feel it, too. quivers in the GQP as they feel the rumblings of the storm from this Krakken that they awoke.

Biolabs! from evil Biden-OBama Nazi camps! It has literally forced RU state media to flee the country. LMFAO.

There's a couple of brilliant insider documentaries on DPRNK over the last several years, about how people live their daily lives with the information they get and the required, public, prostrations to "remain a citizen." It's some spooky, very real shit...but we all kinda laugh at it because we think of it as a trapped little island (which it is), but feel like it doesn't really effect the world of current humans.

That exact stuff...that is what is forcing people to flee Russia right now, because they can actually do that. This is some scary shit, folks. It really is.

I really wonder what Q world is going to look like, 3 months out....

As would I, shit I'd record it. I am all for helping Ukraine in every way - except the one where we rely on the good graces of someone like Putin to not end the world. The way out of this is for Putin to exhaust his ability to conduct combat operations, or Russia to exhaust it's patience with him. Unless NATO is attacked, we need to sit this one out. Keep calm and supply away.

This country sees $5/gal gas and face mask mandates as damn near existential threats, so this cavalier attitude towards the notion of nuclear war I keep hearing is just as unfathomable to me as it is hilarious.

I was talking specifically about Poland.

Oh I get that, but I'm just pointing out that there's no way the Donald helped us better prepare for Putin's folly. I'd venture to say that in an alternate universe with the Iran deal in place and a steady supply of Iranian crude to the West, Putin wouldn't have dared invade Ukraine (or even if he did, sanctions would've crippled them sooner.)

Trump did nothing but weaken the US diplomatically. All the "relationships" he and Kushner supposedly built in the Middle East weren't for the benefit of the US, but for the benefit of their families and a few close cronies. MBS got what he wanted out of them (namely, legitimacy and the ability to depose his uncle). Now when America comes calling, the Saudis are working with our enemies.

A 'world war' is multiple nations engaging each other in multiple venues. Kind of like what's been going on almost non stop since about 1990 or so.

Of course it is, but a modern world war among superpowers would run the risk of going nuclear, particularly if one side is a paper bear and just got the absolute shit stomped out of it.

Please don't be obtuse. If you know of any conflict where NATO and Russians were shooting at each other, I am all ears. Otherwise it's kind of like you don't have a point beyond semantics.

Oh the Russians would really not like these

I thought we already were? I replied in this thread to news of it earlier anyway.

Yes, Switchblades are incredibly nasty. A claymore (or Javelin for the 600s) that can loiter, track you, then hunt your ass down is a real nightmare. And I am all about it. Joe should give them Rapid Dragon and shore launched NSMs too. Black Sea could do with more artificial reefs.

I don't disagree with you, but I absolutely dread the day when Putin realizes he cannot win.

Someone else posted a Tweet in this thread alluding to this a few days back--switchblade 600s and possibly another drone from AeroVironment.

Puma, I think. Essentially the 'eyes and ears' quarterback for a swarm of Switchblades. Can control a mix of 300s and 600s, has gimbaled sensors like bigger UAVs but it's small and light enough it can be launched by hand. Don't even need a bungie.

A team can have a Puma follow them, with orbiting Switchblades on standby CAS. Troops get aerial recon, can sit back while vehicles are taken out or enemy infantry engaged/driven towards team for a final cut down. Switchblades are The Business.

Considering that Turmp has that $300mil+ debt coming soon, and Putin is...uh, running out of money.

Might be soon.

I guess Puti will need that $300mil from Trumpy to just help feed his people. I bet Trump always thought he would not need to pay it.
