I see nothing about this on the news. How does the poster know where the missile came from, what it is, who fired it etc?

The incoming was caught on multiple videos. Clearly a decent sized short range ballistic warhead. Really only one possibility in this part of the world that has and would use those against US targets.

The Russians are going to turn Kyiv into rubble. They are bombarding cities all over Ukraine. Maybe it's time to supply Ukraine with missiles capable of reaching Moscow.

The Kiev forecast is substantially colder than Boston—many nights are ~20 F colder.

A lot of these men have no artificial heat sources, and it sounds like they were supplied with rations and gear completely insufficient for a protracted siege.

They are Russians, they will be fine. Those temperatures are not that cold.

This deserves its own thread…is this related?

Well isn't that some talent being able to identify the type and source of weapon just by a quick glance...at night from miles away.

FYI: That area has been under repeated attacks for ages by local militias. rockets. Drones. Whatever flaming frisbees coated in cheese.

What it boils down to is this
"US Consulate" happens to be in spitting distance of a "US military base" and for some strange region some Iraqi's are tired of US military in their country and militias have developed a hobby of launching rockets at US forces.

No alarm found. This is BAU in the region.
Given that local militias have been doing this for awhile and the twat appear appears to be extremely misleading.

It looks like the Iranians have decided no deal.
This makes no sense. The Iranians have a window here to supply a shit tonne of oil and gas when the world needs it the most. Maybe it was easier to get a deal going with Maduro than with Khamenei.

Iranians are pissed because of an Israeli strike that killed two of their officers in Syria on Wednesday

So they decide to strike Erbil in the Kurdish region where locals have been attacking the same for ages in the middle of negotiations on the Nuclear deal?
Also
Fuck Pence
Underscoring Iranian concerns, former US Vice President Mike Pence said on Wednesday that should Washington agree to a new accord and were the Republicans to take power again, they would “rip up any new Iran nuclear deal on day one”.

No idea why they attacked that place, seems kinda dumb all things considered

Basically. US reprisals likely against Iranian militias in Iraq and Syria, nothing that will spook the energy markets.

Putin mounted this invasion based on a mountain of lies. Look where it lead them.

But Trump has been mounting his comeback on his own mountain of lies. I hope the americans are wakening up to this reality.

I see Putin in much the same view as our old german budy.

I have a feeling that Trump will be our next president. Especially if high gas prices, and inflation take us into a recession.
