The French is no longer talking if they’re talking when they’ll have boots on the ground and Europe is like “strike anything you can in Russia, gloves off”, while US is still holding back on recommending targets inside actual Russia proper. I think this is a good fit, the nuclear MAD escalation is primarily vs the US, so if you guys keep sending your old shit to UKR, Europe will start getting boots on the ground. FINALLY.
Yeah, if that's still true with the Biden admin, IDK what is going on. Election politics? We have no reason to hold Ukraine back wrt/targets that I can see.

What Zelensky said was they could if necessary make adjustments legally to allow an election under martial law IF he gets his $100 million + payment.

Fixed that for you bud. Your argument falls flat the second Zelensky starts demanding more money to hold elections. Funny how another $100 million+ can fix all of those problems according to Zelensky.

That’s usually how things work in Ukraine.

Didn’t a nuclear-armed America withdraw from Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan?
I don't think you can use this argument with Russia. Its motivations, its internal narratives, and its constraints are different to American ones. America for one didn't have to face a NATO level organisation which have warned Russia that any nuclear use is an attack on Europe.

But we don't know what a desperate Putin and his group would do.

:tearsofjoy:

Like I said, your IQ seems to drop with every post. Wow. On your way to MTG territory, with a smile on your face. Just, wow. You really posted that. haha

It's amazing how you post stuff like that and still expect to be taken seriously.

Btw, Li Keqiang sends his regards, moron.

He left MTG way behind him from the first time he posted in this thread. Hard to imagine being worse than MTG, but he's more than proved himself and he's just about ready to beat out the weed crawler for the title seeing as if they're competing against each other for the right to be #1 Putin Pussy.

It is a good time right now if you are a Ukrainian MP and well connected: you can enjoy the luxury cars at the expense of Western taxpayers! What a deal.

"
Luxury cars are the new benchmark of distinction of the Ukrainian MP Hennadiy Vatsak: Will the Council of Europe and the EU censor this ex-waiter and ask him from where he got the money to own a Rolls-Royce Spectre?
Thanks to the West and the war in Ukraine, the new benchmark of distinction for Ukrainian MPs is to own a Rolls Royce or other luxury cars. This is what the Ukrainian MP Henndaiy Vatsak owns today. He is the proud owner of a Rolls Royce EV Spectre, whose price is around $422,700 or 16,258,555.25 Ukrainian Hryvni. The story of Vatsak and his new Rolls Royce is making the rounds on X. In one of the comments, it was stated that

“As Western Taxpayers are having their wallets emptied to support the most corrupt country in Europe to fight a US-led proxy war against Russia, Ukrainian MP’s, whose wages are also funded by Western Governments Aid Packages, are wafting in silent opulence along the streets of Kiev!”

t makes you wonder how a reasonably average MP can afford to own such an item, let alone have the conscience to drive around the streets of Kiev in it! He goes around Kiev in such a luxurious car when this city is supposed to be at war. It’s no wonder that the President of Ukraine, Zelansky, does not want to hold elections.

If one thinks that this Ukraine MP, Vatsak, has only this car in his garage, one will make the wrong assumption. Vatsak owns other luxurious cars, including RR SUV, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Bentley & Mercedes. And before becoming a politician and a Ukrainian MP, he was a waiter!

And the European Union wants this Ukrainian government to become a member. This time, the European Commission and the European parliamentarians are not worried about the corruption and where all the money that Ukraine is getting to support Zelensky and his corrupt government is going. Luxury cars are the new benchmark of the Ukrainian MPs.

Here is Western taxpayer money, hard at work, buying luxury cars for Ukrainian officials.

A word of warning… If shit were to ever escalate to a full blown www3 conflict, with boots on the ground official declaration of war, (you still claim to be us citizen right?), just understand what the MO are with treasonous individuals at that point.

Ukraine attacking inside Russia again; what is the military purpose of this? Is this a CIA plan to try to destabilize Russia? Ukraine has to be very careful working with Americans, they are known to be bad allies. Once Ukraine is deemed as unworthy to support any longer, Americans will run and abandon Ukraine. Meanwhile, the European neighbors of Ukraine will still have to live with Ukraine so this can create problems.

Speaking of Syria, we can see the US is loving that "democracy and freedom" by illegally occupying Syria and stealing their oil. Keeping people impoverished, as it has done in Iraq and Afghanistan, and basically anywhere it goes to spread its "democracy and freedom."

Suffering humiliating defeat in Syria, the US has not left. It cannot remove Assad anymore so I guess all it can do is steal their oil.

you're such a dumb fucking cvnt. and yes, this is what you deserve, because you haven't once posted a claim here based in fact, and engaging in reasonable discourse. You are a propagandistic bastard that hails from somewhere near Vladivostok and you are just trying to earn your monthly ration of sardines.

so yeah, no one that treats you any better than I do is deserving of any praise, because you simply get back what you put in.

If you can deny those things then I would listen to it.
You didn’t answer my question. In case you forgot here it is again:

What are you basing your analysis of the accuracy of those “facts” on? How did you determine this source was reliable?

his answer is that it was "translated from the original Russian."

So is this a threat to me? That if I continue to post, you people are supporting my censoring and/or persecution? If so, I expected that from members of Team Ukraine, which there are many here on Anandtech. Thank you for revealing yourselves.

The other comments are unworthy of a reply so I will not waste time on them. Some of you Team Ukraine members should be more like fellow team member fskimospy. He is more calm but he will wear you down with Q & A sessions. He does it through a slow and steady, methodical way instead of emotional outbursts like other Team Ukraine members around here.

Also, just because I use non-CIA and Western talking points sources, it does not invalidate them at all. So I will continue to use sources of all kinds, including Ukrainian and Russian ones. Do I care whether you like them? Of course not. Thanks for participating.

You seem to be implying that my comments are worthy of a reply, which is very nice of you!

That being said - you didn't actually reply. Russia has clearly violated the UN Charter here. Is that bad?

Your sources are invalidated when they make claims with no evidence of what is being claimed. Do you remember the entire Zelensky yacht purchase from last year that turned out to be using fake documents as evidence?

It’s funny you won’t or can’t articulate why you think they are good valid sources. Why is that? I agree using diverse sources is important, so what is your heuristic for deciding what is a good source?

He's a coward, this is what they do. Did you see the tantrum he threw over refusing to answer a simple Yes or No hypothetical? Notice the wide berth he's still giving the Feng Yujun article I linked several pages ago.

He's not here to engage in honest debate, he doesn't even have the requisite knowledge for that even if he was honest. Like the other one, he's here to make Russia out to be a victim and the Ukrainian fight for survival a lost cause. That's it.

A cheerleader for a genocidal mafia thug. Some sad shit really.

"Team Ukraine"...I'm team whoever as long as they are the ones getting invaded by another aggressive country for bullshit lying reasons.

And yes, that applies to America over the Iraq bullshit, which sucks donkey balls but it's something we Americans have to own. Putin looked at that garbage and said, ok, that's how its done...

There were many in the West pulling for the Nazis in WWII and probably in every other conflict involving an authoritarian prick trying to expand their empire. I'm sure there were rubes in Gondor on team Sauron, hey he made some good points! What is there to discuss with such people? They've chosen a side and are the enemy of people who don't believe countries have the right to invade others for no good reason.

Yup, wasn't just people like Lindbergh and Ford. We had 20 Dixiecrats (repugs in the 40s) in Congress working with Hitler's agent George Viereck. We caught German spies who confirmed the names of Americans they were working with. Real shame the whole thing faded away, and all because a judge keeled over and Truman deciding to bury it all so he could still work with Southerners.

Right wingers getting passes for treason is nothing new, sadly.

Plenty of people on here were against the Iraq war when it happened. I was against it from the start, even though I participated in it. It’s called having consistent principles. People can also change over time and it’s reasonable for someone to have supported the Iraq war in the past, have realized their mistake, and changed their mind.

What strikes me about @raildogg is that he is opposing Israel’s invasion of Gaza as a violation of the UN Charter while SIMULTANEOUSLY apologizing for Russia’s far more explicit violation of the UN Charter. He knows he’s doing this too as you will see him steadfastly refuse to address the glaring hypocrisy.

If they didn't have hypocrisy they'd have nothing.

Rail, do you want to show us on the doll where Zelenskyy touched you?

What is it that explains your zeal to see those people crushed by Putin, their country given the Grozny treatment and made uninhabitable? Why is it you're such a coward when it comes to war crimes?

fskimo, i already addressed your UN questions earlier. You can check that out.

Typical responses and typical insults are thrown around. I don't know where to even start so I won't. Team Ukraine is very desperate these days and with good reason. So they are running around, making accusations, threatening people and just acting crazy.

But I see that making excuses for Ukraine's officials that are living very lavishly is common on this forum. There are quite a few examples of this, but since some sources might be non-America, they will be dismissed. Listen, Ukraine and corruption are a great combination and have been many years, it is very well known. I don't understand how people who claim to be so knowledgeable can dismiss this. But might this help you just a little? Since its CNN it won't push too much but it does reveal some corruption:

Apparently these raids didn't go far enough! Ukrainians and apparently Ukrainian officials are just loving luxury cars these days despite the war. Apparently Russia is sparing the luxury car market in Ukraine? The evil Russians are destroying everything, from what they say here, but leaving the luxury dealers alone?! Weird stuff.

So either Russia is bad at genocide, as claimed here, or Ukrainians are not afraid of Russia just showing up and destroying the entire country.

Also, about this guy with the Rolls Royce, well unless you can prove it otherwise, I have to go with that story. I try to find independent sources and that does not mean they are totally right. Even Western press has been shown to be extremely biases and has made plenty of false stories. We don't have time to list all of them but Iraq, Lybia and Syria wars come to mind.

In what post was that, specifically?

Hopefully you can link me some where you condemn Russia’s invasion here with the same vitriol you have for Israel’s.
