I have him on ignore, so I don't know what could be more incomprehensible than him saying to toss grenades at immigrant children.

that was in reference to the worst brandon; not the baby-grenading tajjy.

Wow, guess I was wrong there. Very surprised the Ukrainians are doing that. Proving Russian propaganda correct about Ukrainian forces being a threat to Russian territory is something I thought they'd want to avoid entirely.

I think retaliating in response to invasion and being put in a war situation isn't really the same that they were ever willing to threaten Russia during peacetime.

I know, that won't be the messaging, but it doesn't really matter what Russia says about it. It was always going to be a lie.

The bloc is more unified and moving far more quickly than at any point that I can remember. They are furious and acting on it.
Unless they put on troops on the ground, they are all bluffing. Since when Sanctions have done crap to stop Putin?

Yeah that's bad. Could mean Putin is fed up and now it's Grozny time. There are Russian tanks and fighting vehicles stranded on roads with no fuel or food though, same thing might apply to the 2S7s and their crews. I imagine Ukraine will try to nail these guys fast either way though. 203mm hate isn't the kind you can ignore, that's basically a naval gun on tracks.

I’m not rooting for WWIII to start but the assault on Ukraine is in a very different category culturally. These people are them.

Can you imagine Ted in Kyiv? Haha. He'd be in a basement corner sitting in a puddle of his own piss. Saw in that first link the story about thousands of Romanians showing up to the border with their personal cars, ready to ferry refugees. All the old Soviet possessions banding together to get through this, I love it.

What are they going to do? Star WWIII that will end in Armageddon?

The breakout of a purely conventional war that is limited in scope seems like an underrated possibility. EU isn’t going to march to Moscow or anything.

No one has naval guns that big anymore. The downside to it is the ROF is only about 2 rounds per minute. Self loading self propelled 155s give up individual shell weight but can deliver more on target per minute. Plus they can shoot and scoot better than that monster.

Russia is getting ready to take this conflict up another notch. Its going to go from bad to very very bad for the Ukrainian population I'm afraid.

Yes, WMDs are very bad for populated areas.
We need to be prepared to ALSO "take this conflict up another notch".

Seriously what is the expected life of that tub measured in? Minutes? They're gonna catch a javelin or 8.

"Give your enemy a way out."

I'm struggling to envision a way out of this for Putin. I assume he'd grasp any lifeline thrown to him at this point. I don't know what that lifeline would look like though.
