You have the balls to claim Ukraine made 0 gains taking their own territory from you war criminals and are trying to argue Biden will reverse funding? you are the bigliest of losers. You are a sicko. I hope Ukraine has a long talk with you Comrade ass-clown. I mean many people are saying grasshoppers that are young are a delicacy in Ukraine. Many of the best people are saying. Russia the failed state Brings a sweet tear to my eye.
Of course Young Grasshop[er laughs at my post because he is a coward. On ignore he goes. What a loser. The worst loser. The deranged loser …. Many people say.

At current burn rates the US can continue supplying munitions to Ukraine for like 15-20 months based on remaining cash, so past the election. There's going to be a supplemental ask likely this month or next but even if we have to wait until the lame duck in 24 they're covered. This also doesn't include stuff purchased under USAI which is a different pot of cash. If Russia is hoping that Ukraine stops getting US boom stuff soon they are hoping in vain.

The destruction of the Russian military for less than 5% of US annual defense spending is just a screaming hot deal.

I don't think @Young Grasshopper views invasions or war crimes as bad things, at least not inherently. He seems primarily concerned with who is doing them and if it's Russia that's either fine or the mean old west made them do it.

Next time when Ukraine signs a peace agreement, they should actually abide by it instead of doing the opposite and using the time to gear up for war. Zelensky, Poroshenko, Hollande and Merkel have all said the Minks II agreement was nothing more than a sham.

Probably not a good idea trying to dupe your nuclear armed neighbor. Just saying.

Looks like they got duped just fine. Entire armed force is being disassembled for less than we spend on air conditioning for our boys and girls downrange.

I hope Russia has learned its lesson not to try and dupe countries that are more powerful than it is. The morons there tried to lie to the world about not invading Ukraine but all they succeeded in doing was pissing us off. Now look at Russia, their army has been gutted for the cost of what is basically a rounding error for the US.

If you watch excerpts from Russian state propaganda you’ll see how they are desperately trying to convince their audience that they are only losing because they are fighting the combined might of NATO. I guess they aren’t in a place where they can accept they are losing to their much smaller neighbor, armed with modest amounts of obsolete NATO gear that we were just going to scrap anyway.

Don’t worry about Trump, with how all of this is going Biden will reverse it before Election Day.

If you have 55% against continued funding with Ukraine making zero gains, you think they’re going to make any gains once snow season sets in? The snow is just going to freeze the current lines of conflict like last fall and winter, in which public funding support will just continue to erode over time with no Ukrainian movement.

This is precisely the reason why the west was pushing Ukraine so hard to launch thier counteroffensive. They needed to make gains as soon as the snow melted, get some territory in during spring/summer before snow sets in again. They’ve gained nothing so far.

why haven't you found a window yet?

Wouldn't be another day without Russian war crimes out of the Genocide / Nazi playbook.
What to do with all those Ukrainian children they've stolen?
Why... fresh meat for the frontline, of course!

Russia making cadets out of children kidnapped from Ukraine
All "Russian" children get the honor of dying for Vlad the Butcher.
It's just that some children get to die a lot sooner than others.

As far as I can tell all of this is based on the idea that Putin realizes for him this war is existential. He wins or he dies, because Russia is essentially a mafia state.

It was evil when Russia double tapped in Syria, its still evil when it does it Ukraine. Civilian and first responders are the targets.

Here is your typical Russian fleecing his dead comrades.
This illustrates why the Russian Army turned out to be a piece of shit. In Russia stealing is considered a way of life. If you aren’t stealing you’re a chump. Turns out that matters when you try to invade some place.

Russian culture is degenerate - they are a bunch of poorly educated, violent thieves. They have convinced themselves they are some cultural beacon though, presumably because they have nothing else.

When I was in Russia the people I met could not shut up about Pushkin, their amazing cultural legacy, and how picked on they were by everyone else. What they didn’t realize is they brought all this on themselves.

This is a provocative headline but I think it’s basically right. Modern Russia is the closest thing we have to Nazi Germany today and they present an ongoing threat to their neighbors and Europe in general.

Our goal should be to demilitarize Russia as much as possible - something we will sadly probably have to do involuntarily.

Of course they are, in every single western country, it’s one way to destabilize a democracy. Sponsor those small alt right cells and fan the flames.

Just on the posts above about the possible lack of American politcal support for Ukraine in 2024, there seems to be significant voter support for Ukraine, if the framing is right.

Total aid committed to Ukraine is about the money we'd save by shit canning the failed LCS program, something not one in a hundred Americans could even identify. The ROI here is just absurd in the annals of modern warfare. Just explain to people the deal we're getting.
