Do you carry 256 meg PC-133 Dimms, and if so what is the cost for me to buy two and have them shipped to Utah. Now before you say, go to the web site and fill out an order. I was wondering if you had a good source for some pretty good brand ram. If what you have on the site is pretty good then that will work. I just wanted to talk to the source. :)

(for the rest of ya)

The reason I am doing this is GameBox has earned enough money for a 256 meg dimm. Now I am going to trade the 2 128 meg dimms that were donated for a 256 meg Dimm that I will buy for the box. Now nothing will change on the donation page. I'm just doing this so that I have one more Dimm slot free for later on.

Any problems with this?

LD,

With 256MB technology, one must be concerned about compatibility more so than 128MB and smaller. What motherboard/chipset would it be going on?

BP6, Version 1.0 I have two Cel 366's at 550 now, with Alpha heat sinks and fans on them. I would be running the ram at PC-100 but might take it up higher. I want PC-133 for future reasons.

I have tried some micron 256 and some NEC 256 in my BP6 and couldn't get it to recognize either one. That may just be because those were "registered" dimms, but they both worked on a couple of VIA motherboards that I had.

Just a thought.

Thanks for the info, I will now double check that I can run standard PC-133 ram 256 meg dimms in a BP6.

Anyone ever try this?

Thanks, the -8E's seem to work just fine. BPhantom has one in his BP6 and no troubles at all.

HMM...I've used the Micron on the BH6, BX6, BX6r2, BE6, BE6r2, and BM6. You happen to be using the ONE Abit board that I never stocked. This has me worried a bit. Could the BP6 be that much different than the others?
