Alive & well here in Portland.

:)

I've talked to Russ, he's fine save for being out of power.

Thanks for the info, glad to hear you're alright! Yeah, I read a little about this earlier, but I guess I'm too slow to catch "PNW"..

They're tough guys. Do you really think Russ will let a little power get to him (save for his RC5 crunchers;)?

GL

I believe if they are OK themselves, they are busy helping those who are less fortunate . At least that is what I would hope they would be doing, after tending to thier own affairs.

Not to pry too much into your life, but out of curiousity, might I ask why you called Russ (or vice versa)?

Tripleshot, my prayers are with your daughter and the rest.

Heh, it took me a while to figure out what PNW meant. I thought it was a tech term that went over my head. :)

That's funny, I had no trouble whatsoever getting to Russ. Maybe because he's in Kent?

6.8 on the rictor scale! It was like standing on a water bed for about 30 seconds.I was at work in Auburn(south of Seattle),I'm just glad to see that there were very few injuries.

If anyone would like me to call a friend or relative in this area to relay a message just shoot me a PM & I'll try to help out.

Thanks for the concern,Toro:)

There are some injuries. And their seriousness ranges. It's all over the web. Just look around.

Thank you Isla,

She ms mesagged me a little while ago and she and the folks she is with are all OK.

I have been in a few earthquakes and I don't trust them to stop shaking after the first roll. I have always wondered how it is scientists can't seem to predict when they are going to strike, yet they are now saying there won't be any aftershocks.

Yea,like that makes me feel better, nowing they are on watch.

Sheesh.

Glad to here only thing suffering is some blocks being flushed to Dnet out of Kent. Glad your OK Russ! :)
