So, the cops simply charge him with spitting blood in their faces. Considering that whole "AIDS thing", it could land him in jail for 30 years. But the cops don't say how the blood got into his mouth in the first place. The cops also don't say what would prompt him to spit blood, other than his kid wouldn't get off stage when they told him to.

The old geezer also threw a cop down the stairs, too. Cops apparently neglected to point out that Lifeson tumbled down those stairs at the same time.

This just ticks me off. As far as I've ever known, Alex has been a stand-up guy.

Yup, you're right, a search didn't turn up a dupe thread. I started with the basics: alex, lifeson, and rush.

Then I moved on to searching with the words by-tor, strangiato, syrinx, yyz, 2112, subdivisions, necromancer, cygnus x-1 and cinderella man. Must have spent an hour, nothing came up.

I never would have guessed to search with "Tom Sawyer". In fact, if I were just perusing the board and came across that thread title by chance, I would have assumed Samuel L Clemmons post-humously spat blood in a cop's face.

Yes, I muse... 😉
 
Alex's son claims the blood came as a result of the cops breaking his dad's nose.

I'm still waiting on the smoking gun's pictures.
