my old college roommate could play pretty much the entire Rush catalogue on the bass. pretty impressive to watch him play. I should call him up and ask him. :)

Triumph - I attempted to learn bass by playing Rush... now the best place to start! I would love to hear your buddy play the bass!

You so called Rush fans shouldn't make me resort to taunting! These ones aren't has hard as quiz #3 :)

Not bad BDawg :) 5 and 7 are the trickier ones... pretend 5 has a lot of delay in it :)

*hint for bonus* it came from a computer game :)

Hmm... 5 isn't Jacob's Ladder again, is it? That's what I thought from the beginning, but you already used it. It's the only song I can think of with that style arpeggio.

7 sound really familiar...its it a few beats slower than the actual piece?

LethalWolfe - Have no idea why that is happening :(

BDawg - 5 is not Jacobs Ladder again :), 7 might be a bit slower than the original... I didn't play along with the songs so my temp may have been off.

Does that make them Marathon and hmm...still don't know.

The Rush I know mysteriously stopped recording in 1982 and didn't start again until 1988. ;)

I am very dissapointed with you :p

Oh, now I get the tongue ;)

7 is a slow and off key Marathon. :D

I think I was thrown off because I didn't remember Marathon having any guitars.

Edit: Still have no clue about 5. The only songs I know about with mountains in them are Fountain of Lamneth and Roll Away the Stone.

BDawg - It may be slow, but it's not off key! :p What did you think Alex did in concerts where they played Marathon! You are not getting the prize if you don't get number 5!

I figured Alex played the bass since Geddy was probably busy on the damn keyboard. I'm still working on 5...I haven't even narrowed it down.
