While I have no sympathy for the man, I do not wish demise of anyone unless they commit a true act of evil, such as murder. All Rush does is foam at the mouth and spout out hate mongering words. Although that is unquestionably "not nice" I wouldn't put it in the category of evil.

Here's hoping he uses this experience as a wake up call to what is more important in life now that he is pulling through.

What's more important in life then fighting for the ideals you believe in?

I only wish ill on people who can directly affect my family and my well being, like Kim Jong Il, Ahmadinejad, and the late Ted Kennedy.

"I'd donate a heart to keep Rush alive," wrote blogger Dan Riehl. "Just need a knife and a liberal close by. ; )"

Ahh, so a sociopath who strongly believes in his conviction that who he murders is important? You do know most murders feel justified in their actions because they believe the person they killed was more in the wrong and deserved it, right?

Again, I am hoping he has a wake up call and realized that what he has believed in so far has been wrong and that he stops. Hate mongering, public alarmist, and any number of other things that spew from his mouth needs to stop. This goes for anyone. It's one thing to talk about an opposite point of view, it is another to lie for your point of view or make up wild accusations. Rush, O'Reilly, Beck, and all the others do this all the time. Not saying there isn't libs that don't do it either. I just have a problem with ANYONE who is in the public eye and is willing to spread a lie they know is a lie just to stir up some hate, disgust or other negative emotion or to prove they are "right" against their opposition.

So, I have no sympathy for a man who has shown in the past he is willing to lie to get his way. I just hope he has a wake up call from this event and sees what is more important in life. CPA, if you can't understand what I mean here, then do us a favor and stop posting.

good god, man - I don't believe you know or have any idea how much I respect you and your postings over the years...

and we are as humans always our worse enemies and will always will be.... That has never changed, and never will..

My sarcasm meter must need new batteries, that sounds sincere. You do understand that moonie is simply regurgitating the same platitudes and drivel that have been making the rounds for the last twenty five years?

I love these threads, they are so predictable. If it's a liberal person who has died the right wing people come in and say 'good riddance! har har!' while the liberals feign outrage that someone could be so evil as to wish someone dead because of their politics. Then, without missing a beat and with zero sense of irony a left wing person dies and everyone switches their role.

Rush is a piece of shit who makes the world a worse place but it's not like he's some sort of evil murderous dictator. I think there have been many people who have died over the years who I am happy to have seen go, but Rush doesn't merit that just for being a professional jackass. It's not like the loonies who listen to him won't latch on to someone else for their marching orders if he were to die today.

Be at peace lefties, he might not die today or tomorrow, but someday he will die. Then you can dance on his grave and the world will be right.

That sounds more like something a phoney ass like you would do.

I don't wish death on him.... nor do I wish health on him. It is what it is.

You mena like getting out of the draft with an anal cyst or calling people with addictions weak POS when you yourself are addictted?

I guess to fight for an ideal you believe in you have to beleive in something first.

I care about this news as much as I would had the news been about Keith Olbermann.

The only thing I am concerned with at this point are the sheep who get their daily dose of marching orders from his show. Where will they turn?

Do you really think he believes what he spouts? I certainly don't. Even Rush admits that he is an entertainer first. Like so many of our mass media pundits (including the few on the left) most of his pronouncements are designed to attract as much attention as possible. The dollars make the messenger far more important than the message.

While I despise him as a total hypocrite I do not wish him ill. As a doctor client of mine said (and he was speaking from both personal and professional knowledge) nearly everyone who goes through a true life threatening event like this changes either their outlook on life or how they live it, or often both.

I love the argument that Rush doesn't even believe what he says.. Yeah, right. Rush is really a socialist but just gets on the radio and talks about free market stuff.. I guess its better than someone like Obama though who won't tell the truth about what they believe. Hell, Obama sounds like Rush when he talks most of the time..
