When people do the stupidest things, make u do an emergency stop, and then when u beep at them, just look blindly ahead of you like it never happened, on a 30 minute drive i almost crashed about 3 times cos of these fools!!! :| :| :| It takes the joy out of driving! The problem stems from ignorant shits being shits and not being courteous and letting people out of junctions! Or not using their side mirrors to change lanes! Or not letting people in when lanes merge! :|

Here in SoCal, I avoid driving from 3-7 pm whenever possible. Telecommuting really helps. My wife isn't so lucky.
 
Now that I moved to the country I can say "What is rush hour?"
The only form of rush our I see anymore is going into town at noon and getting behind 2 people doing 35 in the 31 zone 🙂
Oh I get the occasional old fart doing 45 in the 55 but once there is a passing zone thats not a problem any more.

Tell you though moving here from Hammond and never having to deal With I90/94 I55, 355, 294, I88 pretty much driving anywhere around Chicago, I dont miss it at all. Give me my driving 30 minutes to drive 40 miles to get somewhere any day over the driving 1 hour to get 5 miles and still havent made it to where I need to be 😉
Not to mention getting pissed off, car exhaust, truck exhaust, car horns honking, people cussing, car wrecks, traffic jam parking lots on the freeway. Fug that on a stick. Im glad to be rid of it.

I'm lucky enough to go to work at 6am since the road is pretty much empty, but its a b!tch to go home at 3pm!
 
I'm in socal and get off work at 4pm, right when traffic starts to build up. It's not that bad yet but you will always see a few a-holes every day. Everything from what you mention to driving through lines and passing on the shoulder. These people will continue doing these things because there are hardly any cops around to enforce traffic laws because they don't want to be stuck in traffic either.
