<< I'll be heading over to Best Buy tonight after work to buy Rush Hour DVD for $14.99 and Rush Hour 2 DVD for $16.99 minus $5 savings for buying both movies at once = $26.98 / 2 = $13.49 each. >>

Where do you keep all these movies?

Do you rent a storage locker for them all or something? :D

Home Entertainment center which currently houses my 27" Toshiba Cinema Series TV, ProScan VCR (not used), ReplayTV 3060, RCA DirecTV satellite reciever and 300 or so DVD movies ... of which about 90% are still shrinkwrapped.

Seeing it in the theater was enough for me. Except maybe the scene with Jeremy Piven (sp?). That was hilarious.

Yeah that part was funny but there were several other scenes in the movie which were funny.

I'm gonna get the Rush Hour 1/2 2-pack.

Smart move, makes me wish I didn't already own the Rush Hour DVD. I'll probably exchange this on DVDTalk or sell it to a friend for like $20 :D

where did you find out about the $5 dollar instant rebate?

jp3 is also coming out to day, and for 2.99 you get another free movie.

I saw it on the Best Buy ad when I was there last night buying the Pearl Harbor DVD for $16.99 for my roommate. They had it for $19.99 but I PM'd it against Circuit City's $16.99 :D

I don't even understand the purchase of a DVD if you're only going to watch it once (just rent it!), but you don't even watch them at all RossMAN?

I justify my DVD addiction by calling it a "hobby".

Other people collect stamps, cards, coins, rocks, I collect DVDs.

I probably have over 100 DVDs and I haven't found the time to watch most of them either...

I also like collecting DVDs -- but I also enjoy watching them when I get the chance...

im an addict! i started collecting last june and i have almost 150 dvds now, id say 15% of my dvds are wrapped still, i bought them because either A) i saw it for a good price or b) i really liked the movie and so did my friend who bought a copy to of which we watched his and didnt open mine.

in any case renting a dvd cost like 4.50 from block buster, if you watch the movie twice youve almost payed off off the movie plus you get to keep it.

Hell yeah, Rush Hour 2 is an excellent film. I have the Rush Hour 1 on VHS, so it looks like I'm doing the RossMAN deal at BB tonight! Rock on!

Same with me, I never have time to watch all my DVD's.

Same with me. I used to buy some DVDs because it was such a crazy deal I thought my Ferengi brothers would shun me if I didn't horde all the DVD bargains. You make a valid point about the cost of renting a DVD. My average per DVD cost is around $7 including shipping (thanks to this forum) which is only $2.50 more than renting the movie. So for $2.50 more I can OWN the DVD.

When I discovered you could scan all your DVD's into DVDProfiler.com using the FREE CueCat handheld scanner from Radio Shack, I registered. I haven't scanned in all my DVDs or learned how to upload the DVD list to their website but when I do I'll probably create an ATOT thread about it.
