I was taking a jab at how rush and hannity are the messiah's of the right wing. Since no liberal labeled obama as our messiah I see it as fair game to label rush as the rights messiah.

This idea of paid callers strikes me as weird, and stupid.

I don't listen to radio much, but I've heard the 'callers' a few times and their 'questions/comments' seem to fall into a few categories:

1. Something so obvious it's on the level of 'water is wet'.

2. Something batsh!t crazy (some kind of nutty theory)

3. Butt kissing

4. Someone from the other side who wants to disagree.

None of which seem worth paying for.

Maybe it's just me, but call-in segments seem useless & boring.

How anyone could be legitimately be upset that they may pay callers puzzles me. Everyone knows the callers/questions are screened and approved. It isn't as though there is any expection that the calls are representative of anything; they pick and choose according to their agenda.

Apparently the story is now not only do some mysterious sources pay millions to right wing talk show hosts to spread the propaganda, but they also pay to furnish the callers. You people seriously need to get a life and learn about ratings.

Strangely, Dr. Pizza has not shown up to correct this false thread title. It's almost as if some strange bias is at work . . .

It has to be an inaccurate negative thread title about Mr Obama to be promptly reported and corrected. If it's an inaccurate anti-right thread title then it's up to the OP to correct it after numerous tortuous beatings.

It is not "their own service", it is a service provided mainly to serve morning comedy shows. They can no longer call people and put them on the air without prior consent so they now use paid talent for bits involving scenarios like that if they choose to do them. That is the big grand conspiracy the lefties have gotten themselves in an uproar about.
