I listen to rush every day on the radio, only to come here to see the conservatives have started attacking the libs based on what i was just listening to. I balance the conservative thought out by listening to the liberal leanings of Denis Miller and the daily show.

so is their a source out side fox news and rush that you guys listen to?

Ummm...Dennis Miller on the daily show? I thought that was Jon Stewart. He's definitely liberal. Dennis Miller is a comedian with conservative tendancies if I recall correctly. For those who are interested, there are a few of his past Rants on this site.

Edit: I read *and* as *on* for some strange reason. Somehow Dennis Miller hosting the Daily Show did't sit right with me. :p

The "liberal leanings" of Dennis Miller? I don't think so. No wonder you think the rest of us are commies. :D

Sorry, don't really want to crap in your thread, which is not aimed at the likes of me, but I couldn't let that one go. Dennis Miller is no liberal.

Anyway, I do applaud your wish not to limit yourself to one shade of view. The broader your personal database, the better your fix on the truth.

Anyway, you might try a subscription to Bill Buckley's National Review, which also has an online site. It is a brand of conservatism definitely more nuanced and intellectual than Rush's. The Wall Street Journal's editorial page is reliably conservative, I'm sure they're online as well. Lastly, I don't subscribe anymore, but I recall US News and World Report being somewhat less "liberal" than Time or Newsweek.

3 Comedians? I dunno, 2 I laugh with, 1 I laugh at. I guess if Rush's "comedy" is Slapstick, I might agree.

Don't forget then new liberal radio network featuring Al Franken and Janeane Garafalo both comedians. Typical.

Personally listen to NPR, Jay Severin and would listen to Sean Hannity if I got out of work early enough.

I used to listen to rush until just recently. He is becoming more beligerent every day. It could be because the the election and him pulling all the stops out to try to prevent the big possibility of a kerry Win or I think its because his ego is hurt since Howard now has the largest political reach on the radio.

Howard has the largest political reach on radio? Howard gets around 8 million listeners over a weeks period while Rush gets over 20 million.

Hey Zipp, are you in the beantown area? if so that is cool....I always love it how people try to assert that people listen to Stern for his views on socio/ploitical views and not his springer style third rate use of infidelity/strippers/incest and what not....

Severin IMHO is pretty darn good, gets a little tiring after a while but generally a good show....I saw a pic of him today on his website and didn't expect what I saw, figured him for a really fat old guy but if anything it was the exact opposite.

Well, i think rush is funny enough to equal out the other two.

Mike Medved
Mike Reagan

i didn't like regan when he was on in the local aeria;

LMK doesn't listen to Sean Hannity?
his radio show is low-quality regurgitation of Rush's show, and Handy and colms is up against denismiller.

i used to have a crush on aGarafalo, but she's not exactly well thought-out on the issues; franken is an intentional liar.

I listen to Severin Bozack,He's out of his mind....He's great!
i listen to art bell's program coasttocoast AM; George nore does it now.. but i hardly call that political.
