a few websites like ual.com have runtime errors on the PC that's running norton's-- we click ok re not debugging and the site runs fine- it's just irritiating - is that a known conflict and is there a patch?

I've searched MS, symantec and the web and haven't been able to find anything that can stop these errors. I tried going into IE> Options for it to just not report the errors but that doesn't always stop them from popping up. OS winXP Home

thanks

Sounds like Norton is blocking certain features of browsing. For example one of the ways people can do harm to your computer is through active X. So norton maybe blocking it and IE is complaining about not being able to show it.

I believe the debug option that pops up is a result of microsofts visual studio. I get the same errors on my system. Ever click debug to see what program opens the html? There ya go... Now as how to disable that? I have no idea, it bothers me too
