Runtime errors, etc in IE 6.

"A runtime error has occured"

I run about a 50% chance of getting odd errors all across the web when I install IE 6 on XP. I just did a clean install and did the obligatory updates on windows update. Those of you familiar with installing XP or IE 6 surely have experienced this, any clue what causes it and what the solution is?

Driving me batty! (Well, more batty...)

I know this will fix it:

Goto: Tools > Internet Options... > Advanced > Browsing. By "Display a notification about every script error" remove the Tick on the box.

But that's curing the symptom not the cause...

The only real fix for it is: http://www.opera.com/download/

Well no idea then. My IE works great. If you must use another browser use Mozilla.... Opera is the suck.

Edit: Do you have Visual Basic installed? My friend had a similar problem after installing VB now that I think about it.
