running with stock cooling

im a regular teenager with no money. im running on a 530J and a 6600 gt. My computer idles at abuot 52-50, under load its like 60-63. running with stock heatsink and fan with no thermal paste other than the pad that came on the bottom of the heatsink. What should i get that it reduce my temp the greatest for the least amount of money?

Keep the stock HSF for the time being and save enough money for an XP-90 or XP-120.

Agreed. Those temps may not be pretty, but they aren't out of line for a Prescott. You've got time to save up the $40 for an XP-90.

haha i installed the zalman passive heatsink. It sucks since it doesnt work on the 6600gt. The brackets are too short.

Get a zalman for both the CPU and VGA
