Running Windows 24/7

I run my computer 24/7 I shut it down only if I have to and usually its a warm boot. Does windows store and accumilate temp files? If so, does it automatically refreshs/purges temp files, cache, page files, ram or any other files/systems on a regular basis?

If not, how would I manually do it? Which files should I purge on occasion to keep it "fresh"?

I run all my computers 24/7 home and office, there is nothing special you need to do. Install your patches, reboot when needed, same as with any system.
