Running win98 programs on winXP

Hey all,

I have a few programs that I'd like to run that were written back in the win95/98 days that are known to not be able to run in winXP, even with the compatibility settings on (which ive never gotten to do anything ).

Does anyone know of any software, kinda like an emulator or something, that can run these older programs reliably?

lol, call it nerdy as hell, but i was itchin to play the old school magic the gathering game...I normally played it on my friends laptop, but he upgraded it to winxp...

I believe theres some older games that my bud wants to play as well, but I'm not positive.
