Hi, I have a linux machine at a remote location. Its mine and I was wondering how I would run linux on it without telnetting there from my local machine, something about running a cron daemon maybe? Hey Russ, maybe you can help me out here. It's not much, a k6-233, but something.

I'm not Russ, and I'm not completely sure I understand your question, but I'll try :)

I suppose you mean how you can run the client on it without telnetting to it, and that only means you must have another one there that can control it for you... The client is easily setup (if you want I can make a .ini for you ... I've helped out with those before;)) and running it in linux isn't hard at all. Since you've already got the comp up and running I won't bore you with that... if you have a correct dnetc.ini the only thing you have to do is start the program/client and let it do it's thing. If the comp is using dialup to connect to the internet you'll have to have someone connect it once in a while, but you shouldn't have any probs leaving it offline for a week or two at least...

Hope that answered at least some of what you wondered... if not yell at me and I'll try to clarify.
