I want to test some fans for airflow and what not. How can I do that with just the PS and fans in my box. The fans have molex connectors.

May not apply here, but I have a 100w psu that I leave in the corner of my room just for testing sheet. Works pretty good for not being plugged in to a mobo 🙂 Hope it works for ya.

If it is a ATX PSU I'm pretty sure you need a mobo to start her up.

If you have an old AT PSU you can start without mobo

You can power up the Power supply without a MB.

All ya gotta do is have the PS-ON connected to any of the ground wires.
PS-on should be a green wire, from the ATX connector just have wire going from PS-ON to a black one thats a ground wire.

The one thats labeled PS-ON...yep and theres 7 ground wires

edit: my power supply only has 1 green wire sure your not mixing it with the blue wire?
...lemme find a diagram
