You will need to enable windows ICS (Internet connection sharing). I'm not even sure if it would work after doing this though.

im on windows XP pro SP1
i have a router and all but this summer i'll be in a dorm and i only have one available port so i want to plug my ps2 to my PC to connect and play online games.

Right now just to have a similar set up, i plugged my cable modem directly to my pc and the crossover cable to my ps2.

when my ps2 is not trying to connect the NIC card will show the connection with a red X on it.
When it tries to connect the red X will go away and it'll send packets but not recieve.

ICS is on.
It should be possible because XBOX has the setup on their website but its not working for me....i prolly have a few setting screwed up
